Lofts at Fillmore | 387 N. 2nd Avenue in Phoenix
The Lofts at Fillmore is a quaint 18-unit condo community within the Roosevelt Historic District of Downtown Phoenix. This historic building was originally built in 1916 as an apartment community, but was later beautifully converted and renovated into condos in early 2000 by Lowrey + Mahoney, the same team who renovated Fontenelle Lofts a few blocks north. It was one of the first urban condo projects in downtown Phoenix.
The exterior boasts industrial architecture while the interiors display the original red brick walls with exposed ductwork and electrical conduit, in some cases Australian Cypress hardwood floors or exposed concrete, some balconies, some basements (believe it or not), private parking, private laundry, and just really cool space in a very “community” oriented building.
Lofts at Fillmore offers 1 & 2-bedroom floor plans, ranging in size from 900 square feet up to a spacious 1,300 square feet. The first floor units of the 4-story building will offer basements with bedrooms, while the top two levels will be the 2-story condos with loft options.
Amenities include underground parking, pool, fitness center and barbeques.
It’s very, very close to light rail so you can walk it in way less than ten minutes. It’s also close to ASU and downtown Phoenix and is a very cool property.
