Country Club Park Historic District boundaries are roughly Thomas Road to Virginia Avenue, and 8th Street to Dayton Street.
North High School is at the neighborhood’s east edge and many new restaurants are opening to the south.
This historic district is not to be confused with the Estates of Country Club Manor.

Country Club Park Historic District has a dominant building style of Ranch Style homes with a touch of Provincial Ranch, Art Modern and Spanish style. Architecturally, the district is significant for its intact examples of mid-twentieth century residential building styles and also are reflective of the changes that occurred in construction methods and technologies during World War II.

On average, the homes are in the 1500 square feet with approximately .15 acre lots and with deep setbacks from the street. The homes built under WPB controls tend to be smaller at 1000-1200 square feet and on slightly smaller lots.

The Country Club Park Historic District consists of 142 houses built between 1939 and 1945. Each home in Country Club Park is unique and period street lamps line the streets in this historic neighborhood.
Nearly all of these structures are Ranch-style homes and in keeping with the times, most houses have detached garages located on the rear of the lots, or porte cocheres in side yards. The focal point of the Country Club Park District is a 2.5-acre elliptical park, known as Country Club Park Oval, which is located in the center of the development.
