Historic District Homes For Sale In Earll Place
Earll Place Historic District is generally located along Earll Drive, and the north side of Pinchot Avenue between 16th and 18th Streets.
Earll Place Historic District architectural styles and square footage contains mostly English Tudors, Cottage Style, Spanish Colonial Revivals, Pueblos and Bungalow homes from the 1920’s and 30’s.
Some of these homes have their original square footage of around 1000 square feet. Others appear compact from the street but have been expanded with a master bedroom and bath adding almost double the square footage. All homes are built on deep lots, many with garages and guest houses while still maintaining good backyard space.
Historic Designation

Earll’s Advertising
His advertising strategy promoted the charming cottage exteriors, custom wood interior detailing and included modern conveniences such as electric switches and kitchen appliance. E. A. Earll offered bare lots for sale and also built several houses on speculation. The first house offered for sale was an English Tudor-style residence Earll built at 1626 E. Pinchot.
